Buffalo Wings get their namesake from the town where they were invented… Buffalo, New York! Except that over there, they're known simply as Chicken Wings.
Healthier Buffalo Chicken Wings
The spicy flavor of America's favorite chicken wings is often replicated in different ways but, thanks to extra virgin olive oil from Spain, this recipe is the healthiest, most flavorful version that will give you a tasty wing with the classic flavor that you love.
HOW TO MAKE BUFFALO WINGS: STEP BY STEP
Preheat the oven at 400 ºF.
In a large bowl, drizzle the chicken wings with some EVOO from Spain and season with garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Put the wings on a baking sheet and bake for 50-60 minutes, flipping them halfway through so they cook evenly.
Meanwhile, take another bowl and add the ingredients for the sauce: hot sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic cloves and two tablespoons of Spanish EVOO. Mix everything and your sauce will be ready.
Once the chicken wings are crispy, remove them from the oven and dip them in the sauce using tongs.
Put the chicken wings in a plate and serve with some celery.
