Olive oil is not only tasty but also helps to enrich your dog’s diet. Did you know that olive oil is also good for dogs?
In this article we want to talk about it and tell you how to use olive oil for the benefit of your pet.
Benefits of olive oil for dogs
Olive oil is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids. In addition, extra virgin olive oil is rich in natural antioxidants such as vitamin E and polyphenols.
Olive oil for dog skin
Many luxury dog food manufacturers promote the inclusion of fatty acids in their products, but what they don’t tell you is that you can easily add those acids to your dog’s food by adding a teaspoon of olive oil.
While you may be tempted to rub olive oil directly into your dog’s coat, we strongly advise against it. Add a teaspoon of olive oil to your dog’s diet if he has dry skin.
