Now is the time to use that tuna preserved in olive oil you made the other day. Remember? Blitz some lettuce leaves in a blender with olive oil, lemon juice and salt. Pour onto a plate, top with a piece of tuna and sprinkle with crispy bacon bits. Unbeatable!

Number 4: Bread with tomato, garlic and extra virgin olive oil

Olé España! This is a classic breakfast option in Spain. If you haven’t tried it yet, make a note: finely chop some fresh tomatoes and a clove of garlic. Toast the bread and drench it in olive oil. Pile with the tomato mixture. There won’t be a crumb left!
