The Spanish Olive Oil Interprofessional, with the collaboration of the European Union, is launching the Olive Oil Makes a Tastier World promotional campaign in Asia. Specifically, this campaign will be implemented in China, Japan, and Taiwan. It is an ambitious campaign that showcases the guarantee represented by the European production model and the high standards of olive oil produced in Europe, with Spain, a world leader in the quality and quantity of olive oil produced and sold, at the forefront. Quality, food safety, traceability, authenticity, labeling, nutritional and health aspects, respect for the environment and sustainability are the foundation of the message for this target audience. To that end, the campaign will target the millions of passengers that pass through the continent’s main transportation hubs every day: airports, train stations, and ports. This target audience is generally more open to discovering new culinary experiences and especially values the benefits of a healthy diet. Thus, the campaign will explain the virtues of our olive oils through the advertising panels covering these spaces, while also offering consumers a direct interaction with this food. That will be provided by the Olive Oil Lounge, a temporary space where visitors may taste extra virgin olive oils, receive information on the product and its uses, and admire dozens of olive oil products, all in a space that invites you to relax.
