Catalan vinaigrette recipe

They are the perfect accompaniment to enhance the flavors of food and fill our plates with colors and nuances.

Catalan vinaigrette is an example of a sauce with brilliant color, thanks to the hint of paprika. It has a heavier consistency, thanks to the Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain. It helps highlight the flavor of your stews, it pairs perfectly with fish, chicken or grilled vegetables. You can also keep it simple, and dip some bread in it. Watch out though, you might wind up eating the whole loaf!

Catalan vinaigrette is so easy to make. In the blink of an eye, you'll have a homemade dressing ready to go whenever you want. You will surprise everyone, most of all, yourself.

Preparation: 

  • Add the Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain, the garlic clove, vinegar, paprika, hazelnuts and roasted tomato to a food processor and pulse until you have a consistent sauce.

The combination of this sauce with roasted leeks is so appealing, even the most demanding pallets will be licking the plate clean. Enjoy!
